We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treasurer to oversee the financial management of our pre-school charity. This volunteer role is vital in ensuring the smooth running of the organization’s finances and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the charity operates within its means.
- Budgeting: Assist with preparing budgets and providing financial insights to the committee.
- Banking: Oversee banking activities, including managing payments and deposits.
- Regulatory Compliance: File annual accounts and returns with the Charity Commission in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Present financial updates at committee meetings and prepare year-end accounts.
- Ad Hoc Activities: Support the committee with any additional financial tasks as needed.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
