About me
After being a hairdresser for just under 30 years, I decided to retrain as a childminder so I could care for my two beautiful children. I then decided that I would like to work within a setting. I really enjoy teaching and love to see the children in our care gain new experiences, help them to develop strong self esteem and independence. I love to be part of their formative years, helping them grow and achieve. If I can be a small part of that then this makes me happy.
At home I have two teenagers, which is a challenge in itself. We try to get into the great outdoors as often as we can. Going to the seaside is a firm favourite! I enjoy yoga and meditation, reading and walking, I’m also partial to a little gardening, particularly herbs. I have a passion for music which takes us to many family events and festivals.
