At West Wycombe Pre-School Playgroup we want to create a warm and safe environment in which our children can feel secure and learn in comfort and at their own pace; we understand the importance of treating each child as an individual, and we hope that these policies reflect this. When planning our procedures and policies we consider several government-approved documents including:
- The Government’s strategy – Every Child Matters: Change for Children, where the aim is to provide support for every child to:
- Be healthy
- Stay safe
- Enjoy and achieve
- Make a positive contribution
- Achieve economic well-being
- The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum (September 2021)
These policies were agreed by the pre-school committee and staff but we are constantly reviewing and assessing our procedures, so please feel free to speak with the pre-school Supervisor or the Chairperson of the Committee if you have any comments to make or questions.
